HAUTE COUTURE WEEK: IRIS VAN HERPEN SPRING/SUMMER 2017

Yay, the best time for haute couture blogger as myself is defenitely this week because it is haute couture fashion week in Paris! So I am bringing you the fresh from the runway looks and impressions. Today the Iris Van Herpen couture show was held and it was outstanding and pure avant garde festivity.

This collection is in typical range of Van Herpen aesthetic design; very futuristic and with huge experimental potential. The beauty which possesses haute couture by Van Herpen is defenitely original and ready to push the couture boundaries. Famous jelly bean textures in combination with three dimensional features on the materials; all of that could be seen on the runway today.

The experimental note of this haute collection was undertoned even more with models´ looks; very androgynous and alien alike makeup, which gave the faces "extraterrestrial" vibe. Strong defined fringes in V shape just boosted up the "UFO" aesthetic and this was that particulary innovative step in this whole collection. Iris Van Herpen offered us very brave and innovative couture, still very wearable and by futuristic femininity enriched. This was a pure visual spectacle, no doubt!

Do you like this collection?

Thank you for the attention!

SILKY WAYS BY ARMANI PRIVE

Silky and purely refined! With these words the latest Armani Prive Spring/Summer 2018 Couture Collection could be described. With this collection, Giorgio Armani has stepped out from his usual Couture design and visual standards in the way that it was quirky and playful with the classic tones but interrupted with the modern and contemporary twist. The inner spin was definitely on the scene in the mostly mini dresses and the cocktail mini gowns with the romantic swing in the form of silky ruffles and details like the soft seductive cuts on the decollete.

One innovative thing that catches the eyes are definitely the balayage kind of prints. Like it was the word of the paintings made on the silk the textures was sleek and light with the cute and romantic prints´ editions. The canvas was mostly made and brought in the silver kind of the coloristic solutions and with that, the step in the more innovative side was away from the typically Armani minimalistic monochromatic side.

The pure Arma…

There is something amazing about the fashion and design by Diane Von Furstenberg. Her aesthetics are high feminine with the classic spin but still made for the modern woman. With the vivid colors and still innovative cuts, her style is even today the refined and stunning as it was in the very beginnings. The same words and style directions and characteristics could be seen in her latest Autumn/Winter 2018 Ready-To-Wear Collection.

This collection was presented in the form of the witty and simple editorial with the amazing and gorgeous clothes in the focus. ZUHAIR MURAD S/S 2018 COUTURE COLLECTION

Red carpet ready! With these words, the latest Zuhair Murad Spring/Summer 2018 Couture Collection could be described. The classic Zuhair Murad aesthetic with plenty of embellishments and high glamorous fabrics was on the peak with the seductive and feminine forms and silhouettes. The Astec worthy theme with the native accents was the only step into the unknown but still in the typical Zuhair couture horizons.

The plenty of white and ice white as well as the greys, the motifs with the native twists building the modern Pocahontas couture story. The feathers in the hair as well as the appliqued ones on the prints and animated fringes. All of that was on the sight creating the perfect red carpet collection. Zuhair Murad is well loved by the A-list celebrities so this collection has had the plenty of ideal gowns.

The drama was in the texture which was rather refined and on point in the classic Murad mannerism but with the modern re-build with the mini dresses as well as the dramatic ones. …

The first time is the hardest one, or maybe not! These words could be a motivational and a code of ready to dazzle for the new fashion designer at the head of the Givenchy. After Ricardo Tisci departure it was not easy to step into the glam & by celebrities adored fashion designer. And if that was not enough the imperative of Haute Couture Fashion Week was on the go so this Spring/Summer 2018 Couture Collection by Givenchy was probably the main and most important thing for Clare Waight Keller´ s career.

NYFW: ALEXANDER WANG FALL 2018 READY TO WEAR COLLECTION

The New York Fashion Week has kicked off a few days ago serving us some serious fashion inspiration ideas. Usually, this fashion week is known for the polished and minimalistic looks with the plenty of wearables and on point outfits. In the same design motto, the range was presented the refined and sharp design with the re-innovative and re-invented 80-is glam of Alexander Wang collection for Fall 2018.

There were plenty of all black ensembles which have become the trademark color of Alexander Wang. With the mini-dresses as the main key ingredient and the focus, the collection was inspired by the "Working Girl" theme but in much funky and so Wang kind of way. There were plenty of deconstructed pieces which were considered to be more on the corporative looks´ side of the spectrum. The coat with the cuts on the front worn by the current model star, the young Kaia Gerber was the epitome of what this whole collection was about.

The mentioned 80-is touch was seen on the more leis…
