SILKY WAYS BY ARMANI PRIVE

Silky and purely refined! With these words the latest Armani Prive Spring/Summer 2018 Couture Collection could be described. With this collection, Giorgio Armani has stepped out from his usual Couture design and visual standards in the way that it was quirky and playful with the classic tones but interrupted with the modern and contemporary twist. The inner spin was definitely on the scene in the mostly mini dresses and the cocktail mini gowns with the romantic swing in the form of silky ruffles and details like the soft seductive cuts on the decollete.

One innovative thing that catches the eyes are definitely the balayage kind of prints. Like it was the word of the paintings made on the silk the textures was sleek and light with the cute and romantic prints´ editions. The canvas was mostly made and brought in the silver kind of the coloristic solutions and with that, the step in the more innovative side was away from the typically Armani minimalistic monochromatic side.

The pure Armani Prive twist was in the combination of the sleek and pencil fine trousers and nice cut blazer. In the true Armani mannerism, the shoulders were pointed and sharp as well as the whole silhouette in this case. The depth of Couture wisps was on the sight in the long gowns. With the airy and easy to wear highlights, the forms were the combination of the stiff and sculpted corsets and the voluminous and by ruffles, again, boosted bodice!

This collection has the perfect Couture swing into the much youthful and modern design codes. With the high glam brought in the textures and fabrics as well as in the polished hair and makeup, this collection has kept both sides of Armani worlds, the one which is more quirky and red carpet ready but in the more Grammy´s kind of way, and the other is the pure Armani classic with the outstanding and everlasting aesthetic and beauty ready to dazzle and to be worn!

What do you think about this collection? Do you like the concept of the mini-dresses and the cocktail ensembles accents? What about the colors, do you find the appealing?

Thank you for the attention!
